Ophthalmic Orthoptic Dressing for the Treatment of Strabismus and Amblyopia, Junior Size
It consists of a soft patch that is easily removed and attached to a skin-friendly and adjustable substrate made of breathable material, coated with hypoallergenic glue. The dressing is made of breathable material and adapts to the contour of the eye.
USE
Application
For better adhesion, first clean and dry the skin.
Gently close both eyes while keeping the facial muscles relaxed. Avoid wrinkles around the eyes.
Apply the dressing with the narrow end towards the nose. Do not stretch the patch and do not pull on the skin.
Secure the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape by pressing lightly with your fingertips around the patch.
Removal
From the side of the nose, grasp and loosen the outer edge of the patch.
Hold the skin with your fingers. Remove the tape slowly and gently, peeling the patch towards the ear, keeping it close to the surface of the skin and pulling it back. Removing the patch at an angle will pull on the skin and increase the risk of redness and irritation.
As the patch is removed, continue to support the recently exposed skin.
