For the prevention and management of Metabolic Syndrome disorders
The Metabolin -1 is a powerful plant-based dietary formula, combining polyphenols from Pomolive® (patented extract of Pyrus malus-apple and Olea europaea-olive) and Bergavit® (titrated extract of Citrus aurantium bergamia-bergamot) with vitamins B12, B6 and folic acid, components that positively contribute to the management of Metabolic Syndrome disorders (central type obesity, high triglycerides, low HDL, hypertension, insulin resistance) and prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular disease.

The Pomolive ® is a unique combination of elaidic terpenoids with apple antioxidant polyphenols. The polyphenols, which are found in large quantities in the bark of the fruit, exert a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-glycation action. These actions combine and result in the protection of the body from many of the reversible consequences of aging.
A double-blind clinical study in patients who received placebo and Pomolive® showed that the combination of terpenoids and polyphenols significantly improved values in important risk factors associated with metabolic syndrome.
The Bergavit® (from bergamot juice-Citrus Bergamia, 28% w/w) contributes positively to cardiovascular health and achieving a normal lipid profile, improving the HDL/LDL ratio and sdLDL (small dense LDL) values. The bergamot is rich in phenolic compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions. The polyphenolic compounds of bergamot follow the same metabolic pathways as related drugs for lowering cholesterol, without affecting CoQ10 levels and without the occurrence of side effects (muscle pain, fatigue or / and liver problems).
The bergamot is also safe and effective in the metabolism of glucose and fatty acids. It improves insulin sensitivity, promotes glucose uptake into cells and inhibits glucose synthesis in the liver, thus reducing blood sugar. It also stimulates the burning of free fatty acids and facilitates weight control.
Vitamins B12, B6 & folic acid: Reduce risky homocysteine levels and consequently the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Protect blood vessels. Promote the conversion of homocysteine into useful amino acids.
How to use:
