NEUROASPIS (Oral Supplement for the management of psoriasis)
Neuroaspis® plp10 is possibly the first specially designed dietary supplement, patented in Europe, used for medical purposes to manage patients with Multiple Sclerosis specifically, but also other related neurodegenerative diseases. It is a unique dietary supplement with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties. It is patented worldwide (W02012131493) and accompanied by a study published in the British Medical Journal(BMJ).
Its main feature is its very high content of omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in a special ratio and form in combination with special antioxidants.
Thanks to the high amount of 18gr (9gr omega-3 and 9gr omega-6) polyunsaturated fatty acids, which far exceeds dietary intake possibilities and the special ratio between them, the Neuroaspis is able to restore the ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in our body to the ideal value of 1 to 1! The omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids contained in Neuroaspis have a high degree of purity & esterification, while all its components are in active biochemical form.
The predominant component in Neuroaspis is DHA i.e. omega-3 fatty acid, which proven to contribute to the normal function of the brain and vision from fetal life to old age! Omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory, neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties, which are documented in numerous publications.
Additionally, Neuroaspis contains the antioxidants gamma-tocopherol, vitamins E and A, which combine synergistically with the fatty acids and provide valuable antioxidant properties.
