Water makes up about 70% of a cosmetic product. In Apivita we replace water with herbal extracts so that each product from its base is rich in antioxidants and other active ingredients that enhance its actions. For the patented extract from organic Greek mountain tea we chose three different varieties of mountain tea (Sideritis Scardica, Sideritis Perfoliata, Sideritis Raeseri) collected from organic farms in Olympus, an area with ideal soils for growing sideritis. This extract provides antioxidant and moisturizing action to the product. In vitro clinical studies have shown that:
- Activates sirtuins, proteins associated with anti-aging, as they contribute to the repair of cell damage.
- Activates aquaporins, water exchange channels, important for skin hydration
