Learn how you can easily dye your hair at home with the new My Color Elixir hair dye from Apivita. Preparation and Application - First Use Follow the steps below: 1. Protect your clothes by placing a towel on your shoulders during the application of the dye and remove any jewelry you are wearing. Wear the gloves provided in the package. Apply a small amount of oil near the hairline to prevent staining your skin. 2. Empty the entire contents of the dye cream tube (A) into the color activator vial (B). Mixing ratio: 1:1.5 3. Close the cap of the vial (B) and shake until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Immediately cut the tip of the applicator of the color activator vial (B) and start applying immediately. 4. Apply the mixture to dry hair, starting from the roots to the ends, using the tip of the applicator of the color activator vial (B) to separate the hair strands. Apply the remaining product evenly to your hair and massage gently. The mixture does not run. 5. Let the mixture act for 30 minutes. 6. After the waiting time, pour a little lukewarm water on your hair and massage until foam forms. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Then, wash with the Apivita Sunflower and Honey Color Protection Shampoo. 7. Apply the post-color hair cream and massage gently into your hair to allow the ingredients to penetrate the hair and seal the color. 8. Apply the mixture to the roots, creating partings with the tip of the applicator (B). Let the product act for 20-30 minutes. 3. If the color of your hair has faded, apply the remaining mixture along the hair. Let the product act for another 5-10 minutes. 4. Complete the process following steps 6 to 8. Tips for professional results • To avoid the phenomenon of color fading (light roots-darker ends) in repeated dyeing, leave the dye on the lengths for only 5-10 minutes (repeated use procedure). For monthly use, we recommend repeating only on the roots. • The final color result you desire for your hair is the combination of the hair base, whether it is naturally colored or dyed, and the chosen shade of dye. • If your hair has highlights, you may need more than one application to achieve uniform color. For better coverage, choose one of the base colors (X.0). If the highlights have been done with decoloration, there is a possibility that the reflectance of the chosen shade will be altered. In this case, avoid the sandy (X.1) and very dark tones. • If you use half a tube of dye, keep the remaining amount for future use. The dye must be applied immediately after mixing with the activator lotion. The mixed dye cannot be stored and used again. It is important to maintain the correct mixing ratio (1:1.5) because if it changes, the color performance will not be correct and the coverage of white hair will be insufficient. • If you have had a perm or straightening treatment, wait 15 days before dyeing your hair. • If you have dyed your hair with henna or semi-permanent dye, wait until the dye is completely gone to achieve an even result.
