Description
Fennel is a fragrant plant, which has its roots in the Mediterranean region, but is now cultivated in Europe, Asia and America. It grows near houses (in the countryside), at the edge of fields and roads, on the shores of the sea. It has been used since antiquity for its energizing and anti-parasitic properties and is also said to drive away evil spirits.

Fennel is a fruit (or seed) rich in essential oil with a characteristic aroma, and is used for its medicinal properties. Beyond its ability to stimulate digestion, it is capable of calming spasms and abdominal pains (gastritis, colitis). Fennel prevents the formation of gases by blocking the fermentation process of foods during digestion. Thus, it offers a perfect solution to the problem of aerophagia, the source of great discomfort and embarrassment.
