The Natural Response Nipple adapts to the natural feeding rhythm of your baby, facilitating the combination of breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The teat features a unique hole that releases milk only when the baby drinks. Thus, when the baby stops to swallow and breathe, the flow of milk stops.
The wide, soft and flexible teat is specially designed to mimic the shape and feel of a female breast, making it easier for your baby to grasp the teat and feel comfortable.
We all learn at our own pace. The ability of the baby to drink from a bottle is a skill and some babies develop it faster than others. For this reason, some babies may benefit initially from the "First Flow" teat (Teat 0) before progressing to the Natural Response teats. If your baby takes more than 20 minutes to drink 50 ml/1.7 oz using the Natural Response teats, switch to the "First Flow" teat. If the baby plays with the teat instead of drinking or seems distressed, try a Natural Response teat with a higher flow rate. If feeding difficulties persist, consult a healthcare professional.
