Description - mode of action
Nettle has one of the widest ranges of applications among herbs. It strengthens and tones the whole body and is one of the best natural sources of minerals. It is an excellent herb for cases of anemia, as the contained vitamin C ensures the absorption of the also contained iron. It increases the excretion of uric acid from the body, which explains the use of the herb to treat gout.
It also works effectively for anything involving high levels of histamine, e.g. eczema with very intense itching
Ingredients
Tincture of organically grown fresh nettle (Urtica) extracted in alcohol (50% v/v)
Dosage and method of use
Adults: 20 drops in a little water, 2 times a day.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop for each year of age in a little water, 2 times a day.
