A powerful anticoagulant rodenticide, used to combat mice (Mus musculus) and rats (Rattus rattus, Rattus norvegicus). It takes only one meal for the rodents to take the lethal dose with the bait.
Mode and time of application
The use of baits is intended for indoor areas in buildings in urban or rural areas and in sewers. Before application, the area must be cleaned of various rodent foods. Baiting sites should be protected and inaccessible to humans, pets and birds. When placing the baits, care should be taken to minimize the risk of ingestion by children or pets. Where feasible, baits should be secured so that they cannot be pulled outwards. If tamper-resistant safety bait stations are used, they should clearly indicate on their packaging that they contain bait, so as not to be confused with empty bait stations.
Baiting begins when the first signs of rodent presence appear. Baiting sites should be changed periodically. The placement of baits is done without contact with hands.
The baits should be inspected daily and replenished until they stop being eaten by rodents. When the baits are used in public areas, the areas where baits have been placed should be marked for the entire period that baits are present. There should also be a related warning indicating the risk of primary and secondary poisoning from anticoagulant rodenticide, while along the areas of bait placement, first aid in case of poisoning should be indicated.
