BioGaia Protectis & D3 drops contain the probiotic bacterium Lactobacilus reuteri Protectis, a natural lactobacillus that helps restore the balance of the flora in the digestive system, in combination with Vitamin D to strengthen the bone development of infants and babies.

L. reuteri is a probiotic that:*
- Is isolated from breast milk

- Does not transmit its resistance to any antibiotics that coexist in the commensal flora.

DosageTo treat infant colic: 5 drops once daily (contains 108 CFUs L.reuteri ProTectis®)
To treat gastrointestinal symptoms after antibiotic use: 10 drops once (contains 2x108 CFUs L.reuteri ProTectis®) 1 hour after each antibiotic administration. Each bottle is sufficient for the administration of antibiotics every 24 hours.
