The drinking solution BioGaia Protectis Family contains the probiotic bacterium Lactobacilus reuteri Protectis, a natural lactobacillus that helps restore the balance of the flora in the digestive system, and also strengthens the immune system, while improving psychology.
It is supportive in cases of gastrointestinal problems such as:
- Constipation
- Abdominal pain
- Stomach cramps
- Colic
- Flatulence and bloating
- Intestinal gases
- Diarrhea
- Disorders after taking antibiotics.
The L. reuteri is a probiotic which:
- Is isolated from human breast milk
- Proven to colonize along the gastrointestinal tract
- Adheres strongly to the walls of the intestinal tube
- Promotes the antipathogenic substance reuterin (Reuterin)
- Does not transmit its resistance to any antibiotics that coexist in the symbiotic flora.
