The chewable probiotic tablets
BioGaia Protectis Family contain the probiotic bacterium Lactobacilus reuteri Protectis, a natural lactobacillus that helps restore the balance of the digestive system, as well as to strengthen the immune system. Additionally, it acts by improving psychology and mood.

L. reuteri is a probiotic that: *
- Is isolated from breast milk
- Proven to colonize along the gastrointestinal tract
- Adheres strongly to the walls of the intestinal tube
- Promotes the antagonistic substance reuterin (Reuterin)
- Does not transfer its resistance to any antibiotics that coexist in the symbiotic flora.
