BioGaia Protectis Junior contain the probiotic bacterium Lactobacilus reuteri Protectis, a natural lactobacillus that helps restore the balance of the flora in the digestive system, as well as to strengthen the immune system.
The safety of L. reuteri Protectis, as a dietary treatment, in gastrointestinal disorders associated with the intake of antibiotics, has been studied in children and adults and based on studies it is ideal in cases such as: *

- Stomach cramps
- Colic
- Flatulence and bloating
- Intestinal gases
- Diarrhea
- Disorders after taking antibiotics.
To L. reuteri is a probiotic which: *
- Is isolated from breast milk
- Proven to colonize along the gastrointestinal tract
- Adheres strongly to the walls of the intestinal tract
- Promotes the antipathogenic substance reuterin (Reuterin)
- Does not transmit its resistance to any antibiotics that coexist in the symbiotic flora.
