The PRUZAX ULTRA cream is an anti-itch cream (face-body) effective in the symptomatic treatment of itching (itching), of any etiology (itching caused by skin, systemic and pediatric diseases, as well as by adverse drug reactions).

The PRUZAX ULTRA cream has a triple action:
a) Anti-itch
b) Moisturizing
c) Anti-inflammatory
The PRUZAX ULTRA cream also, with its ingredients, restores the function of the Natural Skin Barrier.
The PRUZAX ULTRA cream contains polidocanol.
Polidocanol acts as a mild local anesthetic and has anti-itch properties, which make it ideal for treating skin conditions where xerosis and itching (e.g. atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, etc.)
The anti-itch effect of a topical formulation with polidocanol and urea was recently demonstrated, in a Clinical Study conducted in Germany, with the participation of 196 physicians and 910 patients with Atopic Dermatitis (among the patients included 25 children 0-6 years old and 34 children 6-12 years old), Itch of the Elderly (24% of patients) and other Itchy Skin Conditions.
At the end of the Study, a Good or Excellent reduction of itching (itching) in 82.7% of patients was observed.
The positive results on itching (itching) were noticeable after a few minutes or immediately after application of the product.
The conclusion of this Clinical Study was: «… the combination of polidocanol – urea is an effective, safe and well-tolerated therapeutic option in skin diseases with major symptoms of xerosis and itching (itching)…»

The cream PRUZAX ULTRA is recommended for symptomatic / temporary relief of itching (itching), as well as for the treatment of xerosis, as it appears in:
• Itchy skin conditions (Atopic eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, etc.)
• Elderly itch (Itch of the elderly)
• Hematologic itch
• Uremic itch (Renal etiology)
• Itch / Xerosis from adverse drug reaction
• Itch due to sunburn
The PRUZAX ULTRA cream can be used by the pharmacist, on a doctor's prescription, as a base in anti-itch Galenic formulations.
The PRUZAX ULTRA cream is applied to the affected area with a light massage, until fully absorbed. It is used 2-3 times a day.
The PRUZAX ULTRA cream is available in a plastic tube of 150ml.
