The URONYX is a softening and keratolytic nail gel. The URONYX nail gel with 50% urea, is a valuable tool in the hands of the doctor in the treatment of: Nail dystrophies (onychocryptosis, onycholysis)
Nail psoriasis (alone or with medication)
Onychomycoses (in combination with topical or systemic treatment).
As well as:
The URONYX softens the nail plate and reduces its thickness.
Onychomycoses: For topical treatment, use the URONYX 1 time per day and use the topical medication 1 time per day (ciclopirox olamine) or 1 time per week (amorolfine). This scheme gives effectiveness of up to 100% in three months.
Nail dystrophies: Application 1-2 times per day. The number of daily applications and the duration of treatment depend on the thickness of the nail plate.
Care of cuticles: Application 1-2 times per day until the tissue softens.
Care of diabetic patients' nails:
The nails of patients suffering from diabetes are usually hard and difficult to cut. To make cutting the nails easier and to avoid injuries, URONYX can be used 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days. The application of URONYX thins and softens the nail plate and makes the cutting process easier and painless.
The URONYX is applied to the nail plate 1-2 times per day with a special brush included in the package. The application is done just like with any nail polish. After application, the area should not be washed for 6-8 hours.
The URONYX is available in a special vial, with brush, of 10ml.
