Xolon 15 tablets: the small package

The 15 tablets Xolon is the small version of the herbal formula by Doctor's Formulas. It is mainly requested in the pharmacy by two categories of people: those who want to try a herbal preparation for the first time before committing to a larger package, and those who want something small to take in their bag when the schedule, food and place change.

The small size suits the logic of the product. The composition contains senna, cascara and rhubarb, three herbs with anthraquinone derivatives, which are not intended for prolonged use. The 15 tablets are a package for short and occasional use, and should be used accordingly.

The herbs with anthraquinone derivatives

Senna (Cassia senna). Shrub of Africa and Asia, with sennas in the leaves and pods. One of the best-known herbs of traditional herbal medicine.**

Cascara (Rhamnus purshiana). Bark of a tree from northwestern America, with characteristic compounds the cascarosides.**

The fibers and aromatic herbs

Aloe vera. The gel of the leaf contains polysaccharides, such as glucomannan.**

Fennel, i.e. fennel (Foeniculum vulgare). Aromatic plant of the Mediterranean. The aroma of its seeds is due to anethole of its essential oil.**

Boldo (Peumus boldus). Shrub of Chile, with the alkaloid boldine in its leaves and traditional use as a decoction.**

Mallow (Malva sylvestris). Wild herb of the Greek countryside, with mucilaginous polysaccharides in the flowers and leaves.**

Who is it suitable for

For adults who want a herbal preparation in a small amount, for occasional use and for a few days.

It is not suitable for children, nor in pregnancy and lactation, due to the anthraquinone herbs. If you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or known digestive disorder, talk to your doctor first.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose the 15 tablet package?

Because it is small, it easily fits in a bag and is suitable for a product not intended for long-term use. There is also a 30 tablet package if you need a larger amount.

How many tablets and when do I take them?

The dosage is not included in the product information. Follow the label of the package or ask your pharmacist.

How many days can I take it?

It is a short-term preparation. It should not be taken for a long time. If the problem does not resolve in a few days, medical evaluation is needed instead of repeating the use.

Do I need to drink a lot of water?

Yes. The tablets are taken with a large glass of water, because the fibers of psyllium and mallow retain fluids.

I am traveling. Is anything special needed?

Keep it in a cool and dry place, away from the sun in the car, and make sure you have water available when you take it.

Does it affect my medications?
