The Elmex® CARIES PROFESSIONAL with Fluoride + 1.5% Arginine, offers superior prevention of cavities compared to a common fluoride toothpaste.

The toothpaste Elmex® CARIES PROFESSIONAL combines 1.5% Arginine (Sugar Acid Neutraliser Technology) with 1450 ppm fluoride for greater protection against cavities compared to a common fluoride toothpaste. After eating, the pH in the mouth drops due to the bacteria that metabolize food into acids. Arginine neutralizes the acids in the plaque, restoring the pH on the tooth surface to a healthy level. This works in combination with fluoride which helps to inhibit demineralization and promotes remineralization.
