COMPOSITION: Sodium hyaluronic acid 0.2%, EDTA disodium salt, BHT, Imidazolylurea, chlorhexidine digluconate, silicone oil, sorbic acid, glycerin, stearyl (21) EO, stearyl (2)EO, sweet almond oil, cetostearyl alcohol, petrolatum, water.
FORM: The Cicatridina® dermatological ointment packaging contains a tube of 60g.
DESCRIPTION AND USE: The CICATRIDINA ® dermatological ointment acts thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a polysaccharide with a wide distribution in many tissues of the body. Hyaluronic acid acts as a structural support providing, tone, nourishment and elasticity to the tissue. Numerous clinical studies have demonstrated the ability of hyaluronic acid to accelerate and improve the process of re-epithelialization and tissue restoration.
INDICATIONS: Enhances the repair and restoration processes of the skin epithelium as well as of deep traumatic conditions such as: surgical wounds, pressure sores, recent and chronic ulcers, burns I & II degree, surface skin solutions, skin tears, cuts. Also repairs and restores erythema and irritation after laser hair removal, irritation after interventional face, body and other many skin traumatic conditions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Should not be used in case of personalized hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
Pregnancy and lactation In these cases, it is recommended to take the advice of your treating physician. Effects on driving and using machines or equipment. No specific precautions required.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS: No interactions with other products have been noted. It is recommended to consult your physician before using the CICATRIDINA ® ointment in combination with other medical devices or topical dermatological medications.
APPLICATION METHOD: Apply an adequate amount to the affected area with a light massage. If deemed necessary, gauze can be applied. It is good hygiene practice to wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
DOSAGE: It is recommended to use two to three daily applications. If necessary, the CICATRIDINA ® dermatological ointment can be used for a long period of time.
UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: The use of all topical products, especially for prolonged periods of time, could present sensitization effects. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor for appropriate management. In the event of undesirable effects not listed in this leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
