Powder for oral solution, for the symptomatic treatment of constipation. Promotes peristalsis, facilitating adequate intestinal evacuation to treat constipation and prevent fecal impaction.

Macrogol is an inert high molecular weight water-soluble polymer. It has the ability to form bonds with the water used during intake, which it retains within the stools. It enhances rehydration and softens stools, facilitating defecation. It accelerates intestinal transit by stimulating peristalsis. It is neither absorbed nor metabolized in the intestine. It does not disturb the electrolyte balance if taken with the appropriate dose of liquid.
