Ibutin-Gelsectan® is a medical device and is recommended for the restoration of intestinal function in patients suffering from changes in bowel habits due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which may be related to intestinal hypersensitivity or after taking certain medications, for the relief and prevention of symptoms such as chronic or recurrent diarrhea, abdominal distension, pain, rumbling and flatulence.
Ibutin-Gelsectan® forms a barrier in the intestinal wall that prevents intestinal permeability and the entry of pathogenic stimuli into the intestinal tube.
Dosage: 1 or 2 capsules, depending on the severity of symptoms, twice a day (morning before breakfast and evening before dinner) for 2 to 4 weeks. Treatment may be extended if deemed necessary. Swallowing the capsule should be accompanied by a drink.
Ingredients: Each Ibutin-Gelsectan® capsule contains: Xylo-oligosaccharides 210.6 mg, Prickly pear protein 175 mg, Polysaccharide of tamarind seeds (Xyloglucane) 100 mg, and grape seed extract 75 mg. Excipients: magnesium stearate (plant origin) and amorphous precipitated silica.
