Key benefits
- Discreet transparent patch
- Flexible material that allows the skin to breathe for great comfort
- Easy to use, can be cut to desired size
- Water resistant
- Very skin friendly
How does scar repair work? The transparent polyurethane patch is designed to create a semi-occlusive barrier that improves the hydration of scar tissue. It also increases the temperature in the scar tissue. This contributes to the activation of the skin regeneration process and supports the remodeling of the scar. Scars become flatter, softer, and smoother.
Clinical studiesClinical studies have shown positive results after 8 weeks of continuous use for at least 12 hours daily. Initial results are visible after 3 to 4 weeks. Using the patch for more than 8 weeks may further improve the appearance of the scar.
APPLICATIONStep 1: Remove the protective paper from the adhesive side of the patch. Place the patch on clean and dry skin, ensuring that the scar is fully covered.
Step 2: If the scar cannot be fully covered, more patches can be placed next to each other. For smaller scars, the patch can be cut to the desired size.
Step 3: The patch should remain in place for at least 12 hours a day and be changed daily.
