The Hansaplast Sensitive MED XXL dressings are sterile wound dressings for the protection of larger wounds or postoperative injuries.

1. Cleaning
Cleaning the wound of dirt and bacteria is the essential first step for optimal healing. To prevent wound infections, spray the Hansaplast Wound Cleaning Spray from a distance of about 10cm, over the entire area of the wound. Repeat if necessary and then gently wipe the wound and the surrounding skin area with the sterile gauze.
Important: In small wounds, bleeding stops quickly. If bleeding continues, use additional gauze, maintain pressure, and seek medical help.
2. Protection
Next, it is important to protect the wound from external factors such as dirt and bacteria so that healing can proceed without complications. Cover the wound with the sterile wound gauze Hansaplast that best suits your needs. Monitor the wound and change the dressing or gauze daily, unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
