Amino acids are the basic building blocks of proteins and unlike the two other basic categories of nutrients (carbohydrates, fats) they contain nitrogen at a rate of 16%. Proteins are considered essential for any living organism, and after water, they constitute the largest part of body weight. About 28 amino acids are associated with maintaining good human health. The liver produces 80% of these amino acids, but the remaining 20% must necessarily be supplied to the organism by food, and this percentage is the essential amino acids.
This product offers the human organism 20 free form amino acids. It offers the essential amino acids, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, valine, i.e. amino acids that the organism cannot synthesize and therefore takes them externally. Additionally, it provides L-glutamine which is a non-essential amino acid, widely distributed in the body's proteins and enzymes.
For an adult, the essential amino acids are: lysine, threonine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, and leucine. Infants also need histidine.
