The body uses the amino acid Tyrosine and the metal Iodine to make thyroid hormones, which are important for regulating temperature, energy, and many physical and mental functions. The Thyroid Support Formula provides vitamins and metals key to thyroid hormone production, together with iodine, zinc and selenium, which help the thyroid to convert tyrosine into thyroid hormones (T4). Vitamin C, folic acid, copper, magnesium, manganese and iron convert phenylalanine into tyrosine in the body, and vitamins B3, B4, B6 and B12 are involved in the production of hormones and regulation of the thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands. Supports the function of the thyroid gland.

Dosage: 2-3 capsules daily, before meals. May not be suitable for people with allergies to fish or shellfish. If taking Thyroxine concurrently, do not take more than 1 capsule per day (or more than 30μg Iodine per day). Not recommended for pregnant women, in cases of melanoma, schizophrenia, high blood pressure or if taking MAO inhibitors.
