Tranexamic acid is a synthetic analogue of the amino acid lysine, which inhibits melanogenesis by suppressing the expression of pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) and a melanotropic hormone (α-MSH).

It acts effectively on hyperpigmentation by targeting both its vascular system and reducing melanin production.

Usage:

Apply twice a day on clean skin, morning and evening, to the affected area.
