Intermed Ergonomic InterBrush Mini Size 3 (0,6mm): the intermediate number

Eight Intermed interdental brushes with a diameter of 0,6mm, with blue color code and the anatomical handle of the Ergonomic series. Size 3 bridges the gap between 0,5mm and 0,7mm, and is often the size that solves the problem when one is loose and the other is tight.

The size scale exists for a reason: a tenth of a millimeter makes a noticeable difference in how well the bristles fit the sides of the teeth.

How to find the right size with a simple test

Start with the gap that concerns you and try the brush without force. If it enters with slight friction and the bristles bend slightly over the teeth, it is the right one. If it doesn't enter, you need a smaller one. If it moves freely without contact, you need a larger one.

When the contact is correct, the brush does what it was made for: cleaning the interdental spaces and hard-to-reach areas from food and plaque.

Who needs it

Those who find 0,5mm too loose and 0,7mm too tight, those with narrow to medium gaps and those cleaning orthodontic appliances in areas with limited space.

Usage and precautions

Gently guide the brush into the space and make gentle back-and-forth strokes. Each time you finish, rinse and dry it to reuse.

Without pressure on narrow areas, to protect the gums. The wire should not bend or be strained, as its breakage can cause injury.

Frequently asked questions

Does the size always stay the same?

Not always. Gaps may change over time or after dental work, so check the number periodically.

Can I combine 0,6mm with other sizes?

Yes. Many use 0,6mm in some areas and smaller or larger in others. The blue code helps you distinguish them.

How many brushes are in the package?

Eight, like the entire Mini series of Intermed.

Is it suitable for anyone wearing braces?

The manufacturer mentions cleaning orthodontic appliances. For which size fits around your brackets, ask your orthodontist.

What do I do if I feel pain?

Stop at that gap and try a smaller size. If the pain persists, contact your dentist.

Carefully insert the brush into the interdental space and apply a gentle back and forth motion. After use, rinse with water and dry it. Caution: in narrow interdental spaces do not apply pressure, as it may cause gum injury. Excessive force and bending of the wire may lead to wear and injury.
