Intermed Medilax-N is a medical device specially designed and indicated for the management of symptoms of constipation, fecal impaction and straining, in children and adults with symptoms as indicated.
With a composition containing as main ingredients sodium citrate and lauryl sarcosinate sodium but also soothing ingredients, it offers relief of symptoms and helps soften stools, increasing their volume and inducing the physiological contraction of the intestine, resulting in immediate evacuation of the large intestine in less than half an hour.

Active ingredients and actions:
- Sodium citrate: Acts as an osmotic agent, increasing the amount of water within the large intestine, drawing fluid from the rest of the body to the intestine or retaining the fluid of the microclyster itself within the stools.
- Lauryl sarcosinate sodium: Provides hydration of the stools, improves water penetration and helps soften stools.
- Soothing ingredients: Relieve the irritated intestinal tract and provide immediate relief from symptoms of functional or acute constipation and straining.
Recommended dosage:
-- Children over two years and adults: One microclyster per day, for one to three days, according to the doctor's advice.
-- Children under two years: Administration according to the doctor's instructions.
Usage:
-- Hold the microclyster with both hands, turn the cap and pull to break its protective safety.
-- Remove the cap and carefully insert the recommended length of the nozzle into the rectum.
-- Press the microclyster to empty its contents into the intestine and remove the nozzle while keeping the microclyster pressed.
-- The product acts within five to ten minutes, ensure access to a toilet before application.
Notes: Each microclyster is intended for single use only, do not store part or all of the microclyster for later use.
Caution: Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Contraindications: Do not use if you have known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, fibroids, cracks, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, active gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, acute anal conditions or anal diseases, unless otherwise advised by your doctor.
Precautions: Do not use the product in newborns.
Storage: To be stored in a dry, cool environment, away from heat sources, protected from light, away from places accessible to young children.
Warnings: Improper storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity and freezing conditions may cause deterioration of the product.
