Unident Kids yellow: what makes PBT fibers different
The Intermed Unident Kids in yellow color is a soft children's toothbrush for ages 3 and up. The head has 4,680 ultrasoft DuPont PBT fibers, is rounded and has a rubber coating, while the handle ends in a suction cup to stand upright. The package contains one piece.
PBT instead of common nylon
Most toothbrushes have nylon fibers. PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a polymer that, according to the manufacturer, holds its shape better, "opens" less with use, and resists moisture and temperature changes. In practice, this means that the head maintains its original shape more consistently, which is useful for children who often squeeze or press the toothbrush.
The fibers are very thin to reach between the teeth and the gum line without pressure. The large number of fibers in a small head gives a dense, soft surface that covers the small teeth without discomfort.

Frequently asked questions
Is it too soft for a child who brushes hard?
Soft fibers are the usual recommendation for children. Hard brushing does not clean better, so show the child to make small, gentle strokes.
When should I change the toothbrush?
The general dental recommendation is every three months or sooner if the fibers are bent, as well as after illness.
What is different about the other colors?
Only the color. Yellow, red, and purple have the same head, fibers, and handle, so siblings can have the same model in a different shade.
Is it suitable for a child under 3 years old?
The manufacturer recommends it for ages 3 and up. For younger children, prefer a toothbrush special for infants and toddlers.
