Kanavos Essential Oil Rosemary Αιθέριο Έλαιο Δενδρολίβανο
100% essential oil of rosemary obtained by steam distillation of fresh leaves and stems of the plant Rosmarinus officinalis. It is a clear, colorless to yellowish liquid with a distinctive aroma.
Approximately 150 chemical compounds have been identified in the essential oils from R. officinalis, with the most commonly reported molecules being eucalyptol, camphor, cineole, and borneol.
Many of its components provide significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Additionally, rosemary essential oil has natural soothing, antiseptic, and antibiotic properties.
For beauty, rosemary essential oil is used to provide shine and elasticity to the skin. It has also been used since ancient times to address hair loss, either on its own or in combination with other essential oils. You can dilute 30 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of olive oil and do a gentle massage on the scalp in circular motions, leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off. Alternatively, add a few drops to your shampoo for cleansing and to improve the appearance of your hair.
For relief from musculoskeletal pain, you can massage the body by diluting 30 drops of essential oil in a carrier oil (e.g. almond oil).
In aromatherapy, rosemary essential oil improves mood, calms, tones the nervous system, and simultaneously reduces anxiety levels. For its benefits, add 5 drops to a ceramic essential oil burner.
