Silymarin consists of 3 separate isomers called Silybin, Silidanin, and Silicristin. These substances belong to the flavonolignans, a powerful group of plant active ingredients, of which Silybin is considered the most potent.
Milk Thistle is one of the herbs with the most references in scientific literature. Over 300 publications in international literature are found regarding its chemical composition and mechanisms of action. To prepare 250mg of titled extract (the amount contained in each tablet of Lamberts Milk Thistle), 6.25gr of the milk thistle fruit is required.
