The formula provides 26 nutrients, all at satisfactory levels and more specifically the metal chromium. It also contains 300mg of magnesium since it is a component of many enzymes that take part in the breakdown of sugar in the blood, and it is deficient in diets based on starch and sugary foods.
Also added is a high level of alpha-lipoic acid since clinical studies have shown that it can improve cellular glucose uptake, while also being a powerful antioxidant.
Finally, significant levels of zinc, vitamin C and B vitamins have been added since these nutrients also help in the cellular uptake and use of glucose.

Precautions:
May cause yellow discoloration of urine. This is harmless and indicates that the body is excreting excess vitamin B2 (riboflavin).
This product contains iron, which if misused, can be harmful to young children. Keep out of reach of children.
Long-term intake of Vitamin B6 (100mg/day) may lead to numbness (paresthesia) in the extremities.
