Individuals with strict dietary restrictions, such as vegetarians (Vegetarians) and vegans (Vegans), are at an increased risk of nutritional deficiency in Omega-3 fatty acids. For the nutritional coverage of these specific population groups in Omega-3 fatty acids, Lamberts has prepared a series of dietary supplements from the algae Schizochytrium sp.
This particular algae is a significant source of EPA & DHA and an integral part of the marine food chain, serving as the primary food for small marine organisms (plankton and krill), which in turn are the food for larger fish.
The cultivation of the algae used for the production of this series, takes place in a controlled environment, ensuring the absence of environmental contaminations in the produced oil.
The oil contains the Omega-3 fatty acids in their triglyceride form and is protected from oxidation by the addition of natural antioxidants (tocopherols and rosemary extract).
The Vegan Omega 3 750mg is a dietary supplement from the algae Schizochytrium sp. that provides per capsule 150mg EPA and 300mg DHA, an amount that contributes to the normal function of the heart and the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision*.
Like all Lamberts® formulations, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
NOTE: Apart from vegetarians and vegans, this supplement can also be used by individuals with fish allergies, who are at an increased risk of nutritional deficiency in EPA and DHA.
