More specifically, 60% of the British population has a deficiency in vitamin D, a deficiency that is associated with the appearance of a multitude of age-related diseases.
Similarly, many nutrition experts believe that a subclinical deficiency of vitamin K, i.e., a deficiency that is not severe enough to manifest clinically with a disorder of blood clotting, is particularly widespread in the general population and may contribute to the appearance of osteoporosis and other age-related diseases, including cardiovascular diseases.
The D3 and K2 formulation of Lamberts® provides 1000 units (25μg) of natural vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) as well as the impressive amount of 90μg (pure and free from cis-isomers) of vitamin K2 in its natural form (as menaquinone/MK-7). Unlike similar products from the competition that use K2 derived from natto (Japanese soybeans), the K2 of Lamberts is produced from chickpeas through a special fermentation process. This ensures that our product does not contain dietary allergens, soy, and dairy by-products.
