MSM (methyl-sulfonyl-methane or dimethyl sulfone) is a chemical compound of sulfur that we obtain through food and supports connective tissues, such as tendons, ligaments, and muscles. It is a natural source of sulfur, with strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying properties. In conditions such as arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis, etc., MSM should be considered a key part of any treatment.
MSM provides sulfur to the amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins, and it ends up in collagen, joints, and blood vessels.
