NOVALAC premium 1 is a first infant formula suitable for the nutrition of full-term infants from birth onwards, when breastfeeding is not applicable.
NOVALAC premium 1 fully meets the nutritional needs of infants during the first six months of their life.
NOVALAC premium 1 contains:
- GOS(Galacto-oligosaccharides)
- DHA
- Nucleotides
- Taurine
For infants over 6 months, NOVALAC premium 2 second infant formula is available to meet their changing nutritional needs, along with other weaning foods gradually introduced into their diet, as advised by your doctor.
In case of protein allergy, premature, low birth weight or immunocompromised infants, seek appropriate medical advice.
Precautions:
- Close the box after each use with the provided cap.
- Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
- Use within 3 weeks of opening.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottom of the box.
- Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before use.
Preparation Instructions
- Always wash your hands before preparing a bottle. Each bottle must be prepared separately. Use only the measuring spoon provided. The formula must be consumed within one hour of preparation.
- Wash the bottle, cap, teat, and any utensils to be used and sterilize them in boiling water.
- Boil clean drinking water for 5 minutes and let it cool to 40 °C or heat clean fresh metallic water with low mineral content to 40 °C.
- Pour the required amount of water (see feeding guide) into the bottle.
- Measure the correct amount of formula (see feeding guide) into the bottle using the provided scoop. Always use one scoop per 30 ml of water.
- Secure the bottle cap and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
- Let it cool to lukewarm temperature (37 °C). Check the temperature on your wrist before feeding. Any leftover formula after feeding should be discarded immediately.
