Coenzyme Q10 is also known as ubiquinone or ubidecarenone. It is a fat-soluble substance present in most eukaryotic cells and is mainly found in the mitochondria. It is a component that participates in the electron transport chain, aerobic cellular respiration, and energy production in the form of ATP.
