NOW's Lecithin is derived from non-genetically modified soybeans and contains, by weight, 15% choline and inositol. Choline and inositol are components of phospholipids (building blocks of cell membranes) and strong lipotropic agents, which helps prevent fat accumulation in the liver.
Choline is part of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (a brain chemical) and is vital for the transmission of nerve impulses.
