Researchers first discovered the coenzyme Q10 in 1957 and initially named it ubiquinone, because it was a quinine found in every cell of the body (the prefix UBI means ubiquitous). Later studies showed that ubiquinone acts as a coenzyme in the body, without which the enzymes required for energy production cannot function.
Taking coenzyme Q10 has multiple benefits for human health.
For proper distribution and function of melanocytes
The coenzyme Q10 (or CoQ10) is proven to protect melanocytes and generally skin cells from oxidation, contributing decisively to the elimination of oxygen free radicals from mitochondria. In combination with BioPerine*, it increases the mobility and improves the distribution of melanocytes in individuals with hypopigmentation. It is recommended to use it in combination with OL Silymarin Plus for more effective antioxidation and photoprotection of melanocytes.
Against sperm oxidation
In daily doses of Olympian Labs and in combination with Acetyl L-Carnitine, CoQ10 can help men with asthenospermia. Studies conducted in andrology and urology centers showed a significant increase in sperm quality and motility compared to placebo. In difficult cases, the combined use of OL Omega 3•6•9 is also recommended.
Ally in cardiovascular health
CoQ10 helps in the delivery of electrical charges to the mitochondria of cells, so that they can produce energy, that is, to stay alive. The heart contains the largest amount of mitochondria of any muscle in the body, so it is no surprise that CoQ10 is an important factor in maintaining cardiovascular health.
CoQ10 helps in addressing cardiovascular problems, improving circulation throughout the body and helping mitochondria to produce energy more efficiently. It increases the amount of blood and oxygen in the heart and prevents the accumulation of cholesterol in arteries. Studies have shown that CoQ10 helps maintain the proper blood clotting and reduce blood pressure. It is recommended to use it in combination with OL Omega 3 and Nattokinase.
Fatty fish, such as mackerel and tuna, beef and some vegetables like spinach and broccoli are good sources of coenzyme Q10, but it is difficult to obtain sufficient amounts from dietary sources. Olympian Labs CoQ10 supplements are extremely safe and are available in truly effective daily doses.
Recommended Dosage: One capsule daily with a meal. Lasts for 2 months!
* Extract of fresh pepper fruits.
