Quest Pregnall Bio-Lact
The dietary supplement Pregnall bio-lact by Quest is a double pack combining multivitamin tablets with calcium and DHA capsules, offering maximum nutritional support during pregnancy and lactation.
The multivitamin tablets contain all the ingredients of Pregnall bio-grow along with calcium for even greater bone support as required during breastfeeding. They contain iron and vitamin B12 for hemoglobin formation, vitamins D and K for healthy bones and teeth, B vitamins for reducing fatigue, vitamin C and zinc for the normal function of the immune system, choline for the proper metabolism of lipids, chromium for the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and 400μg folic acid. With the daily supplemental intake of 400μg of folic acid, its levels in the pregnant woman increase, thus avoiding the low levels that are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Pregnall contains folic acid in the bio-available form L-Methyl folate, which is easily absorbed and used directly by the body.
The DHA capsules contain high purity fish oil providing 200mg DHA and 40mg EPA. The intake of DHA by the mother contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the fetus and the breastfeeding infant, provided that 200mg of DHA is taken daily in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, which is 250mg of DHA and EPA. This is exactly the amount contained in Pregnall bio-lact.
You can start taking Pregnall bio-lact at any stage during or after pregnancy.
