The Solgar Fenugreek is a dietary supplement with raw Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) seed powder, together with extract of the same seed, in phytocapsules.
Raw Fenugreek seed powder 370mg, extract from raw Fenugreek seed (4:1) powder (equivalent to 600mg Trigonella foenum-graecum) 150mg.
The product does not currently have an approved health claim by the EFSA based on Regulation (EC) 1924/2006. It does not have a claim for reducing cholesterol, lipids or blood sugar, increasing testosterone, supporting lactation, or expectorant action.
High cholesterol and diabetes always need diagnosis and treatment by a doctor. The product is not a substitute for medical treatment, nor should it be used for this purpose without medical guidance, due to possible interactions with antidiabetic or anticoagulant therapy.
