SVR Sun Secure Brume SPF50+: invisible protection in mist form
The Sun Secure Brume SPF50+ is a sunscreen in the form of an ultra-fine mist, for face and body, in a 200ml package. It is sprayed in a dense, uniform cloud that spreads by itself and is absorbed almost immediately, leaving a finish that you do not feel on your skin. It is not a cream that you have to work with your hands, nor an oil that shines, and that is precisely the reason for its existence.
It is aimed at anyone who stops putting on sunscreen because they are tired of the process. To the mom who chases the child on the beach, to the athlete who has to reapply at halftime, to anyone who already has makeup and does not want to ruin it, and to anyone who simply cannot stand the feeling of oiliness. The texture is designed so that the mid-day refresh, which is the most often overlooked step, can be done in ten seconds.
Why photostability of filters matters
A sunscreen is not judged only by the index that is written on the package. It is judged by whether this index withstands time. The organic filters absorb the ultraviolet radiation and convert it into harmless heat, but some older generations break down from the very radiation they are supposed to block. As the hours in the sun pass, the actual protection drops, even if you have not swum or sweated.
The composition of Sun Secure Brume is based on four photostable organic filters of a new generation, which create a protective film on the surface of the epidermis and cover a wide range: UVB, UVA, visible light and infrared radiation. The range matters because UVBs are responsible for sunburn, UVAs penetrate deeper and are associated with the visible signs of photoaging, while visible light and infrared radiation are increasingly occupying research, particularly for skins prone to discoloration.
Ingredients one by one
- Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. A new generation filter with strong absorption in the UVA area, photostable and lipophilic.
- Ethylhexyl Triazone. One of the most efficient UVB filters on the market, with very high photostability per composition percentage.
- Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. A broad-spectrum filter that simultaneously covers UVB and UVA and stabilizes the remaining filters of the composition.
- Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone. An extremely photostable lipophilic filter, which contributes to the film's resistance to water and friction.
- Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol). Lipophilic antioxidant that protects the lipids of the composition from oxidation and contributes to the protection of skin cells from oxidative stress.
- Soybean oil (Glycine soja) and caprylic/capric triglycerides. Emollients that soften the finish so that the skin does not dry out, despite the presence of alcohol in the composition of the mist.
- Crambe seedling extract (Lepidium sativum). Plant extract used in sunscreen formulations and is the subject of research for its role in cellular response to environmental stress.**
The aerosol form is achieved with butane and propane propellant gases, while the alcohol gives the dry, non-sticky finish and quick evaporation. The product contains fragrance.
Who is it suitable for
It is designed for all skin types, with emphasis on sensitive and highly sensitive to the sun, and for use on face and body. It is suitable for children from 3 years old, so it works as a sunscreen for the whole family instead of two different bottles in the beach bag.
It is particularly suitable for those with oily or combination skin who struggle with rich sunscreen textures, for people with a lot of body hair where the cream has difficulty spreading, and for those who do outdoor activities and need something that is easily renewed. If you have known soy sensitivity or prefer a fragrance-free formula, see instead the Sun Secure Blur fragrance-free.

How to use
Form: sunscreen mist in aerosol, 200ml, for face and body.
Application: Spray abundant product and spread evenly before sun exposure. For the face, spray first in your palms and then spread. Avoid contact with eyes.
Renewal: Renew frequently, especially after sweating, swimming or wiping with a towel.
Reducing the amount significantly reduces the level of protection. Avoid the sun during peak hours, 11:00 to 16:00. Excessive exposure to the sun poses a serious health risk. Do not expose infants and young children to the sun. Container under pressure, may burst if heated. Keep away from flame, sparks and heat and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.
Frequently asked questions
When should I reapply it?
Every two hours or so during exposure, and definitely after swimming, heavy sweating or wiping with a towel. The convenient aerosol packaging is there precisely to make this repetition seem less tedious.
Can I spray it directly on my face?
No. Spray first in your palms and then spread on your face to avoid contact with eyes and inhalation. The same rule applies to all sunscreens in aerosol form.
What is the difference between Sun Secure Spray, Eau Solaire and Lait Crépitant?
All four are SPF50+ of the same line, but the texture changes. The Brume is the driest and lightest mist, ideal for quick renewal. The Eau Solaire is a biphasic sunscreen water that needs to be shaken. The Lait Crépitant is a sparkling lotion mist that bursts on the skin and provides more intense hydration. The Spray is a fine spray with a slightly more moisturizing finish.
Does it leave white traces or stain clothes?
The composition is with organic filters, not with minerals, so it does not leave a white layer on the skin. As with any sunscreen, it is good to let it absorb before dressing.
Is it resistant to swimming?
It is resistant to water, sweat and friction. However, no composition remains unaffected after prolonged swimming, so renewal after swimming remains necessary.
From what age can it be used?
It is suitable for children from 3 years old and up. Infants and children under 3 years old should not be directly exposed to the sun.
Can I take it with me on the plane?
The 200ml packaging exceeds the 100ml limit for carry-on, so it goes in checked baggage. As an aerosol, it is kept away from heat and sunlight, not in the car's glove compartment.
