Antithrombotic socks Varisan A.T.E. for the prevention and protection against deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. The series is ideal for bedridden or / post-surgical patients as well as for patients for whom corresponding medication is contraindicated. The series is also suitable and safe for use during sleep.

The antithrombotic series offers 18mmHg compression and is specially designed to prevent thrombosis, although it cannot be used to treat any venous pathology.
The series should be used for as long as the patient remains bedridden or for as long as the treating physician deems necessary after surgery.
