Viogenesis Venovit: support for heavy and tired legs

The Viogenesis Venovit is a dietary supplement in 30 tablets, designed around venous circulation and microcirculation. It combines six herbal extracts, horse chestnut as a source of escin, pine bark as a source of OPC, olive leaves, bitter orange as a source of bioflavonoids and Sophora japonica as a source of rutin, together with magnesium, folic acid and vitamins D and K.

It is a formula aimed at those who spend many hours on their feet or are sedentary, feel heaviness and swelling in the legs at the end of the day, or want dietary support for their circulation.

How is the formula structured

The logic of Venovit is to work on three levels at the same time. First, on the wall of the vessels, through flavonoids and OPCs. Secondly, on the function of the muscle cells of the vessels, through magnesium. Thirdly, on the hematopoiesis and metabolism of homocysteine, through folic acid.

Magnesium and folic acid are the two ingredients with approved health claims in the composition, so they form the nutritional backbone of the product.*

Ingredients one by one

  • Horse chestnut fruit extract (Aesculus hippocastanum, standardized to escin). Escin is a mixture of saponins and is the main active compound of horse chestnut. Traditionally associated with venous circulation and the feeling of heaviness in the legs.**
  • Pine bark extract (Pinus pinaster, 95% OPC). Oligomeric proanthocyanidins are associated with the permeability of the capillaries and microcirculation.**
  • Olive leaf extract (Olea europaea, 20% hydroxytyrosol). Contains the polyphenols hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol and elenolic acid.**
  • Bitter orange fruit extract (Citrus aurantium). Source of the flavonoids hesperidin, hesperitin and naringenin.**
  • Sophora japonica flower extract (95% rutin). Rutin is one of the most studied flavonoids in relation to blood vessels.**
  • Magnesium. Contributes to normal muscle function, electrolyte balance and normal energy-yielding metabolism.*
  • Folic acid. Contributes to normal blood formation and normal homocysteine metabolism.*
  • Vitamin K (as menaquinone-7). Contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bone condition.*
  • Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol). Contributes to normal muscle function and the normal function of the immune system.*
