Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin 1000 µg — Active Form of B12
The Vitamain Vitamin B12 provides 1,000 µg methylcobalamin (methylcobalamin) in each tablet, in a dispersible form which can be placed under the tongue or chewed for immediate release in the mouth. Methylcobalamin is the bioactive, coenzyme form of vitamin B12 used directly by the body in metabolic reactions, without requiring enzymatic conversion.
Vitamin B12 has eight authorized health claims from the EFSA (Reg. 432/2012), including its contribution to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal function of the nervous system, reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal psychological function, and normal formation of red blood cells. It is especially recommended for vegetarians, the elderly, and individuals with increased energy or neurological needs.
