Sofargen Repair Wound Gel Patch

The Sofargen® Repair is a medical device with antimicrobial and healing action.

It contains hyaluronic acid, silver sulfadiazine and has a high water content.

Hyaluronic acid, thanks to its hygroscopic power, in case of skin injury, helps to maintain the microenvironment favorable for the restoration of the biological properties of the skin such as elasticity and hydration.

Silver sulfadiazine, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, prevents microbial infection and keeps the wound environment free from exogenous bacteria.

The high water content (>95%) keeps the wound hydrated favoring the natural healing process of tissues and the removal of necrotic tissues when present.

At the same time it cools and relieves the injured skin.

The Sofargen® Repair thanks to its specially studied composition:

Moisturizes and protects the wound
Effectively prevents the penetration of microbes
Facilitates the natural healing process safely

Clean the wound thoroughly using plenty of water or saline solution.
Apply Sofargen® Repair directly onto the wound surface creating an even layer of 2-3 millimeters thick.
Sofargen® Repair can be applied either directly onto the wound or after placing it on sterile gauze or polyurethane patch or semi-permeable patch as a cleaning medium.

Sofargen® Repair should be applied completely once or twice a day for as long as there is a risk of infection and until healing is complete.

It can be used in cases of natural healing as well as in cases of surgical recovery.
