Johnz Chamomile 40gr
Chamomile Suitable for Infants
The name chamomile comes from the ancient Greek "χαμαίμηλον", meaning apple of the earth, due to its smell that resembles that of an apple. The characteristic smell is due to the fact that it contains cadmium, quite unusual for a plant, while it has the property of strengthening the weak plants next to it.
Traditionally used as:
- Suppressant of stress and nervous tension
- Especially for infants, washing the baby with chamomile calms the baby and helps it sleep
- Relieves symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome
- Soothing for inflammations of the mouth (e.g. ulcers) and eyes (e.g. conjunctivitis) in washes
Its particular flavor is even more pronounced when served with honey or lemon.
Available as a pre-packaged sachet as well as in non-powdered form for use as infusions.
