Thanks to the combination of its 2 active ingredients (diosmectite and simethicone):
1. Diosmectite absorbs bacteria, viruses, and toxins and creates a thin film on the intestinal epithelial cells. Thus it prevents the attachment of pathogens and toxins to the intestinal wall, which are then removed from the intestine with each bowel movement. The film protects and soothes the epithelial cells while allowing water absorption, reducing the water concentration in the stool.
2. Simethicone causes the microbubbles of foam in the intestine to coalesce, resulting in reduced bloating and relief from abdominal pain.
