Intermed Eva Intima Douche Aloe Vera: vaginal wash for cleansing and hydration

Intermed Eva Intima Douche Aloe Vera is a mild cleansing solution for vaginal use, in a transparent single-use device of 147ml with a special nozzle. It contains aloe extract and lactic acid, has a pH of 4.2 and does not contain hormones, pharmaceuticals, artificial colors, fragrances or parabens.

According to the manufacturer, it is recommended for cleansing the vagina and moisturizing the vaginal mucosa, as well as for relief from the symptoms of vaginal dryness of any etiology. Dryness can occur during menopause, after childbirth, during breastfeeding, with certain medications or during periods of intense stress, and is often accompanied by a sensation of tingling or discomfort.

How does the wash with aloe and lactic acid work

The wash removes accumulated secretions, as well as residues of other vaginal products, such as the moisturizing gels used in cases of dryness. The manufacturer describes a moisturizing and softening action thanks to the aloe extract.

The natural environment of the vagina is acidic. The lactic acid and the pH 4.2 of the formulation are compatible with this acidic environment, so that the cleansing is done without disturbing the natural balance of the area.

The main ingredients

  • Aloe extract. Aloe (Aloe vera) is widely used in products for sensitive mucous membranes and skin, for its moisturizing and softening sensation.
  • Lactic acid. An organic acid that is naturally found in the vagina and helps maintain the acidic pH of the wash.

Who is it suitable for

For women with vaginal dryness who want a hormone-free solution. For those who use moisturizing vaginal gels and want to periodically remove their residues. And for those whose gynecologist has recommended a vaginal wash as part of their care. The absence of fragrances and dyes makes it a suitable option for those with sensitivity to these ingredients.

How to use

One to two vaginal washes per week, with a minimum interval of 3 days between applications. Each device is for single use only and is discarded after use.

Packaging: 147ml, single-use device.

Do not exceed the recommended frequency. In case of pregnancy, unusual discharge, pain or bleeding, consult your gynecologist before use. Keep out of reach of children.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I use the wash?

One to two times a week, with at least 3 days between applications.

Why should it not be used more often?

The vagina has its own natural flora and self-cleanses. Too frequent washes can disrupt this balance, which is why the manufacturer recommends up to two applications per week with a minimum interval of 3 days.

Does it contain hormones?

No. It does not contain hormones or pharmaceuticals.

Can I reuse the device?

No. It is a single-use device for hygiene reasons.

What is the difference from a sensitive area cleansing liquid?

The cleansing liquid is for external use in daily hygiene. The Douche wash is for internal vaginal cleansing and is used with limited frequency.

Can I combine it with vaginal moisturizing gel?

Yes. The manufacturer states that the wash helps remove residues from vaginal products, such as moisturizing gels.

Is it suitable in menopause?

The indication is for vaginal dryness of any etiology, including menopause. Discuss your overall care with your gynecologist.
