It has an astringent effect which is beneficial for the cleansing of the lymphatic tissue. This effect is due to the triterpenoids contained in the plant.
The lymph nodes are located around the jaw and neck, in the armpits, around the groin and in the abdominal region. Skin problems in these areas may indicate hypotonic lymph nodes. Calendula contains lutein, which helps in the cleansing of the lymph. It is also choleretic (increases bile secretion) and stimulates the function of the lymph nodes. By cleansing and moving the lymph, a simultaneous beneficial effect on all skin conditions is achieved. The addition of Viola tricolor, with its beneficial effects on the skin, supports this property.
Calendula is rich in anti-inflammatory flavonoids. The resin it contains makes it suitable for inflammatory conditions in the mouth, throat and upper digestive tract.
Nettle has been added to Calendula Complex to enhance its cleansing action, as nettle helps the body to eliminate uric acid associated with itchy and inflammatory skin reactions.

Contains tincture of: fresh calendula* 50% (Calendula officinalis) fresh wild pansy* 30% (Viola tricolor) fresh nettle 20% (Urtica dioica). Alcohol content: 58% v/v.
