The rectal suppositories Cicatridina® act thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid as structural support providing: tissue tone, nourishment and elasticity, clinical studies proved the ability of hyaluronic acid to: accelerate and improve the process of tissue re-epithelialization and restoration, during the postoperative stage of proctological surgeries such as: internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, perirectal proctitis fistulas, restore dystrophies due to chemotherapy and ionizing radiations
COMPOSITION: Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Centella asiatica oil extract, calendula oil extract, aloe vera oil extract, tea tree essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, VITAMINS.
FORM: CICATRIDINA ® is in the form of rectal suppositories. The package contains 10 rectal suppositories of 2g each.
DESCRIPTION AND USE: The suppositories CICATRIDINA ® act thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a polysaccharide with a wide distribution in many body tissues. Hyaluronic acid acts as structural support providing, tone, nourishment and elasticity to the tissue. Numerous clinical studies have demonstrated the ability of hyaluronic acid to accelerate and improve the process of tissue re-epithelialization and restoration.
INDICATIONS: Enhances the repair processes of the rectoanal canal during the postoperative stage of proctological surgeries such as: internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, perirectal proctitis fistulas.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Should not be used in case of personalized hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Pregnancy and lactation In these cases, it is recommended to take the advice of your treating physician.

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS: No interactions have been noted with other products. It is recommended to consult your treating physician before using CICATRIDINA® rectal suppositories in combination with other medical devices or drugs for rectal use or rectal administration.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Remove a rectal suppository by pulling the two pre-cut parts of the capsule and insert it deeply into the rectum. It is good hygiene practice to wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
DOSAGE: Use one rectal suppository daily preferably in the evening before bedtime or as directed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the evolving improvement of symptoms. If necessary, Cicatridina rectal suppositories can be used for a long period of time.
UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: The use of all topical products, especially for prolonged periods of time, could present sensitization effects. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor for appropriate management. In the case of undesirable effects not listed in this leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Keep the product out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.
